# go-dns

Go library for authoritative DNS operations against BIND (and compatible) nameservers:
|
|
|
|
- **Dynamic updates** — `nsupdate`-style changes (RFC 2136)
|
|
- **Zone transfer** — full zone read via **AXFR** (IXFR on [backlog](docs/backlog.md))
|
|
- **TSIG key authentication** (callers provide keys; generation out of scope)
|
|
|
|
## Status
|
|
|
|
Early project setup. The supported operation surface, zone data model, and BIND configuration requirements are defined in [docs/changes/00001-setup-project/spec.md](docs/changes/00001-setup-project/spec.md). Implementation follows the change-driven workflow (spec → plan → implement).
